Abogado de la Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (2001), Diplomado en Derecho de los Recursos Naturales de la misma Universidad (2003), Magíster en Derecho por el Centre for Energy, Petroleum & Mineral Law & Policy de la Universidad de Dundee, Escocia, y becario Chevening en el mismo programa (2005).

Fue Vicedecano de la Facultad de Derecho de la PUC, donde se ha desempeñado como profesor de Derecho Ambiental y del curso de Fiscalización y Sanción Ambiental y Responsabilidad por Daño Ambiental en Programa de Magíster en la misma universidad, y como profesor en los Diplomados en Recursos Naturales, Medio Ambiente y Desarrollo Sustentable PUC, en cursos de Contratos y Daños, y Compliance.

Durante el primer gobierno del Presidente Piñera se desempeñó como Subsecretario del Ministerio del Medio Ambiente entre los años 2010 y 2013 y luego como Director del Servicio de Evaluación Ambiental (SEA).

Entre 2007 y febrero de 2018 se desempeñó como Asociado Senior del estudio jurídico Philippi, Yrarrázaval, Pulido & Brunner en el Grupo de Recursos Naturales Posteriormente, entre 2014 a 2017, fue socio en el estudio jurídico Arteaga Gorziglia. En 2017 fue uno de los socios fundadores del estudio Irarrázabal, Loyola y Ciappa, ILC Abogados. En el ámbito internacional ha trabajado como consultor legal extranjero del grupo minero de la canadiense McMillan Binch Mendelsohn, como abogado extranjero del Grupo de Energía, Transporte e Infraestructura del estudio jurídico Ashurst LLP, en Londres, así como en los grupos Mercantil y Ambiental de Uría & Menéndez en Madrid.

Rosa is a chemical engineer from UNEXPO (Venezuela) with over 15 years experience in Process Engineering, Planning and Logistics in general, with focus in Oil Refining Business. She is the current Leader of Business Consultancy for Latin America and the Caribbean at AspenTech for Manufacturing and Supply Chain areas. Regarding her previous experience, she started her career at PDVSA El Palito Refinery where worked for over 7 years. She also worked in the Physical Distribution department at Procter & Gamble Venezuela for 4 years. She joined AspenTech in 2014 and she is based in Bogotá, Colombia.

Dr. Quijada is the former CEO of IntelliChem, Inc., which was acquired by IHS in June 2013. For the past 35 years, Dr. Quijada has studied and followed the Petrochemical industry, from feedstocks to end use products, in Latin America. Now as part of IHS Markit, she heads our Business Development and Market Intelligence efforts in Latin America for IHS Markit Oil, Midstream, Downstream and Chemicals business (OMDC). Previously, she worked for CMAI and PDVSA’s petrochemical subsidiary, Pequiven.

Dr. Quijada earned her PhD in economics in 1992; she completed her Master’s degree in International Management at Thunderbird, attended Oxford Graduate Program in 1981; and earned a B.S. in Organic Chemistry at Bryan College, Tennessee, US in 1980.

Leon Melli is a Chemical Engineer graduated at the University of São Paulo, with a specialization in Economic Engineering at the University of Rio de Janeiro.He has 12 years of experience in the petrochemical and refining industry, in which he acted as process engineer, production planning coordinator and commercial area.He has been working at Haldor Topsoe for the last 5 years, currently works as regional manager of refining technologies for Latin America.

Eli Ben-Shoshan is Global Business Leader of DuPont Clean Technologies and previously was Director of Strategy and M&A for DuPont Industrial Biosciences. Before joining DuPont in 2012, Mr. Ben-Shoshan was Managing Director of Priolytics. His career spans strategy, finance, business development and business leadership, focusing on chemicals, biotechnology, and related industries. Mr. Ben-Shoshan holds bachelor’s degrees in Physics and Economics and an MBA, all from Stanford University.

Matthew Clingerman is currently Director – FCC Technology, and is responsible for leading the global FCC business for KBR.  He has over 17 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry, having previously worked in R&D, technology licensing, operations and project development.  Matthew holds a B.S. degree and a Ph.D. in chemical engineering from Michigan Technological University.
